What is One Day Choir?

One Day Choir is a unique musical experience created by The Hyderabad Voices, where complete beginners come together to discover the joy of singing in harmony. Led by Ashrita Arockiam D’souza, our conductor, participants learn a specially arranged song over the course of just a few hours and perform it together by the end of the session.

No auditions.
No previous musical experience.
No need to read sheet music.

Just bring your voice, curiosity, and willingness to sing.

The aim is not to create perfect singers—it is to create an unforgettable experience of connection, confidence, and collective music-making.

  • The participation fee is ₹499 per person, unless otherwise stated for a specific event.

  • We will not be able to cancel or refund your booking.

  • The payment confirmation will serve both as a confirmation and entry ticket for the event.

  • Participants may receive a Certificate of Participation from HVC.

  • While each workshop is a complete experience in itself, many participants choose to return for future One Day Choir events or join ongoing choir programmes.

  • Group sizes vary depending on the venue, but places are limited to 40 to ensure everyone has a great experience. Early booking is recommended.
